I set Carl Wilson up with a date for the prom. He purchased a brand new 1964 Grand Prix. He bought me a tux and custom shirt and Beatle boots. We were set.
The prom was at The Beverly Hills Hotel (Hotel California). We sang "Graduation Day" acappella- Marty, Carl, and myself. When the prom was over, we went to several blues clubs and sat in to impress our dates. Dennis would come to our recording sessions to see if he could help us in any way and listen to what we were doing. On tour with the Beach boys was great. We always went on just before they did (Murry's suggestion). The girls went wild.
